Duties
The successful candidate will engage in research and development related to the evaluation and analysis of electrocatalysts for water electrolysis hydrogen production.
Salary
Approximately 4,000,000 ~ 5,000,00 JPY per annum.
Determined based on academic background, professional experience, etc., in accordance with the National University Corporation Tohoku University Employee Salary Regulations.
Hours
The discretionary labor system for professional work shall apply.
Flexible Work Hours: The standard working hours are 8:30 to 17:15, but the actual working hours are at the discretion of each employee.
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, December 29 to January 3 of the following year, dates specified by the Graduate School, and leave as prescribed by Tohoku University regulations.
Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a doctoral degree, or be expected to obtain one by the time of appointment.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in aqueous electrochemical measurements, ex situ and in situ structural characterization using spectroscopic techniques such as X-ray absorption spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy, and surface analysis techniques such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
