Asian Development Bank - Japan Scholarship Program

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria set by the Asian Development Bank (ADB-JSP) and pass the Master's entrance examination for the International Post-Graduate Program in Human Security in either “Human Security and Disaster Risk Reduction” or “Human Security and Environment” will qualify for the ADB-JSP Scholarship allocation.

LEAP Program

Tohoku University launched the Tohoku University Advanced Graduate School LEAP Program in April 2026 to foster outstanding researchers who will lead the next generation of innovation and be active on the global stage, as well as to supply highly skilled professionals to diverse sectors.
In principle, this program provides support to all doctoral students*.
