Program orientation for regular course students in spring 2013 was held.

In the afternoon of March 27, following the graduation of the regular course students, the basic course participants held their own graduation ceremony.

On March 27, 2013, 11 students from the Environmental Leadership Program who had completed the program were awarded their graduation certificates by the Dean of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at a graduation ceremony.

On March 15, Mr. Masamitsu AOKI was invited to give a special lecture on the environmental laws and regulations which have a major impact on the electrical products industry.

Professor Michael Norton, one of our program’s main instructors, gave a special lecture focusing on the latest scientific evidence of climate change’s advance and impacts worldwide.
Fieldwork in Kitakyushu
December 6-8, 2012 Training, Internship, Fieldwork
From 6-8 December, we organised a fieldwork visit to Fukuoka Prefecture. 13 Masters and Doctorate students took part in visits to Fukuoka and Kitakyushu water departments, Kitakyushu next generation energy development, and also made research presentations to Kitakyushu City University.

Prof. Tanaka and Li participated in the 49th Environmental Engineering Forum at Kyoto University in November to introduce our program. Samir Gadow (D3) and Takafumi Matsuzaki (M2) also joined the forum, and introduced their research as environmental leader candidate.
