■講 演 Soil aggregates as a stage for microbial ecology & evolution
Prof. Matthias Rillig
Free University of Berlin, Germany
Soil aggregates are central and defining features of soil.
In this talk I cover a range of concepts that highlight the role of soil aggregates in influencing various aspects of microbial ecology and evolution.
Such concepts include microbial community coalescence, local feedbacks, and soil aggregates as massively concurrent evolutionary incubators.
