Tours of Ecollab.
"Ecollab.", the new wooden structure located on the east side of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies' main building, was opened in the spring of 2010.
It was built using plenty of local wood (from Field Science Center, Graduate School of Agricultural Science) which gives it a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
Battery system which used to hold 10kWh has been improved and now can hold 20kWh. Also, all LED lights in the hall and DC Room in Ecollab. use only the natural energy that has been stored. Furthermore, various research results that make use of natural energy were applied in the building's construction.
Tours of Ecollab. are open to all. If you would like to take the tour, please send us an email informing us of your interest. Your email should include the following information. We will get back to you after confirming the tour schedule.
